How it started

Vista Drone UAV LLC was established through a combination of strategic vision and extensive industry experience. Our founder, S. Sudan, with over thirty years of expertise in diverse sectors, saw a key opportunity in the rapidly expanding Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) market in the UAE. The Middle East UAV market, valued at USD 2.84 billion in 2023 and anticipated to grow to USD 5.88 billion by 2033 with a 12% CAGR, presented an exciting landscape for cutting-edge drone solutions. Additionally, the UAE government's forward-thinking leadership played a crucial role in the decision to enter the drone services sector, with plans to extend services across the MENA region

Meet our team

S. Sudan

Founder and CEO

S. Sudan is a seasoned geoscientist and entrepreneur with over 32 years of experience spanning two decades in key roles in the Middle East, is marked by expertise in various sectors including mining, geology, oil and gas, ferrous and non-ferrous metal production, trading, export-import, and business development. He has successfully led multi-million-dollar projects, including a $100 million contract with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO). He holds a Master’s degree in Earth Science from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, India, an MBA in Marketing and a trained Drone Pilot.

Shlok Srivastava

Co-Founder & CTO

Shlok Srivastava is an accomplished petroleum engineer with over eight years of experience in operations management, engineering design, and sustainability. A graduate of the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering, Shlok is also a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Alberta, Canada. His career has spanned critical sectors, including oil and gas, energy management, and technology development, making him a key figure in driving innovation in energy optimization.

As the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Vista Drone UAV LLC, Shlok leverages his expertise to lead the company's technological advancements, particularly in the integration of cutting-edge UAV technologies for asset monitoring and inspection in the oil and gas industry. His extensive experience includes developing IoT sensors for remote monitoring of gas leaks, leading product commercialization efforts, and designing energy-efficient systems. Shlok’s work has directly contributed to reducing methane emissions in Canada’s LNG sector and pioneering geothermal energy projects, demonstrating his commitment to sustainability and innovation.
